About

My name is Basia and I'm a film photographer based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.

 

I've been shooting 35mm film since 2019, when I took a black and white studio/darkroom class at my college and absolutely fell in love with the way shooting film made me slow down and live in the present moment.

 

I've had a camera in my hands since before I could walk- my parents have photo albums filled with off-kilter pictures of lamps and sticky fingers half-covering shutters that can attest to it.

I feel inspired shooting new places and things and writing about what I've experienced. I'm always looking to grow and improve my craft and always open to traveling to create new projects.
